Wardrobe wrapping in Singapore: a new look without new carpentry
10 October 2026 · 4 min read
Built-in wardrobes are made to last. Their finish doesn’t always age as well: the cherry wood that suited the flat years ago, or the glossy white that now shows every mark. Replacing them means new carpentry, noise and dust, and time without your wardrobe. Wrapping changes how they look and keeps everything that still works.
What we wrap
We wrap wardrobe doors, sliding or hinged, along with TV consoles and built-in cabinets, in premium architectural film from LX Hausys BENIF (formerly LG Hausys), Bodaq and 3M DI-NOC. We wrap feature walls too.
From our work:
- Bukit Merah · Built-in cabinets. Cherry wood to a linen-texture film.
- Bedok · Wardrobes. A wall of wardrobes in a fluted wood-look film.
- Katong · Wardrobe. Sliding doors in a walnut-look film.
- Tampines · Wardrobe. A charcoal stone-look panel with a recessed pull.
See the photos on our wardrobes page and in our work.
Wrap or replace?
Wrapping is the right call when the wardrobe works and only the look is wrong:
- the doors open and close properly, and the runners and hinges are fine
- the carcass is solid and dry
- you dislike the colour, the grain or the gloss, or it no longer suits the room
Repair or replace first when:
- panels are swollen, warped or damp
- doors sag, or sliding doors jump their tracks
- you want a different layout, not just a different finish
Film goes over the surface. It won’t fix what’s underneath, so show any damage in your photos.
How wardrobe wrapping is priced
Every wardrobe is different, so we price from photos. What decides it:
- how many doors and panels there are
- sliding or hinged doors
- handles, grooves and edges
- the condition of the surface
Every price includes the film, surface prep, installation and clean-up, a 5-year material warranty and our 1-year workmanship warranty. Prices are final: HomeWrap is not GST-registered.
Choosing a finish for a wardrobe
A wardrobe is often the biggest surface in a bedroom, so its finish sets the tone of the room.
- Wood grains. Big Walnut WH007 and Oak WG077 are among our customers’ most-chosen finishes.
- Textures. Textile VF007, Leather VS022 and Soft Touch SH006 give a large wall of doors some depth.
- Solid colours. They keep a small room calm. Emboss SG102 is one of our customers’ three most-chosen finishes.
- Stone and concrete. Pale Stucco VS053 keeps a room light. A charcoal stone look, like the Tampines wardrobe, makes it moodier.
Colours vary by screen, so we bring samples to your site visit: hold them against your floor and bed frame, in the light of the room. You can also see them at our showroom at Oxley Bizhub in Ubi, by appointment. All these codes are on our finishes page, and our guide to choosing a wrap finish has more tips.
Looking after wrapped wardrobes
Wipe them with a damp cloth, or water and a little neutral detergent. Keep solvents, bleach and abrasive pads away from the film. See what’s covered on our warranty page.
How to get your price
- Send 2–3 photos of the doors and panels on WhatsApp, and we’ll quote your price before any site visit. We reply within 30 minutes, 10am–8pm.
- At the site visit, we bring samples so you can choose your finish in your own light.
- A 50% deposit books your slot and orders the film. The balance is due when we finish.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to wrap a wardrobe in Singapore?
We price wardrobes from photos, because sizes and doors vary so much. Send 2–3 photos on WhatsApp and we’ll reply with a price, before any site visit.
Can you wrap sliding wardrobe doors?
Yes. Sliding and hinged doors both work, and the type of door is part of the price.
Can you wrap a TV console or other built-ins?
Yes. We wrap TV consoles and built-in cabinets as well as wardrobes.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many doors and panels there are, so ask when you send your photos.
Is there a warranty?
Yes: a 5-year material warranty on the film, and our 1-year workmanship warranty on the installation.
How do I pay?
A 50% deposit when you confirm, to book your slot and order the film, and the balance when we finish. The deposit is non-refundable once the job is confirmed.
