Main door wrapping in Singapore: price, time and finishes

10 October 2026 · 5 min read

Your main door is the first thing anyone sees of your home, and the one surface every neighbour walks past. When it starts to look tired, you don’t need a new door. You can wrap the one you have.

What door wrapping is

Wrapping covers your existing door in architectural film: a thin, self-adhesive finish made for interiors, in wood grains, stone and concrete, solid colours and metals. We install film from LX Hausys BENIF (formerly LG Hausys), Bodaq and 3M DI-NOC.

There’s no hacking, no carpentry and no painting, and we clean up before we leave.

What a main door wrap costs

A main door starts at $450. Bedroom doors start at $280 each, so a main door and three bedroom doors start at $1,290. Prices are final: HomeWrap is not GST-registered.

Your price depends on:

  • the size of the door, and whether it has double or wide leaves
  • grooves, glass inserts or raised panels
  • the condition of the surface
  • how many doors we do in one visit

Every price includes the film, surface prep, installation and clean-up, a 5-year material warranty and our 1-year workmanship warranty.

How long it takes

A main door takes 2–3 hours, and bedroom doors 1–2 hours each.

Both sides of the door

We wrap the inside of your main door, the corridor side, or both. The warranty covers the corridor side as well as the inside.

Film is made for interiors, so gates and walls out in the rain aren’t suitable.

In a condo, the outside of your main door faces common property, and your MCST may have rules about it. Check with them first. We can send the finish sample and any details they ask for.

Edges, handles and locks

The edges are where a wrap shows its quality. We wrap every edge tight and trim the film by hand around the handle, the lock and the door viewer, so the edges stay down. On a panelled door, the film follows every raised panel.

If the film lifts, bubbles or peels because of the installation, our 1-year workmanship warranty covers it, and we come back and fix it.

Choosing a finish for your main door

Our customers’ three most-chosen finishes are Stucco VS053, a stone look; Big Walnut WH007, a dark wood grain; and Emboss SG102, a solid colour with a fine texture.

A few things make the choice easier:

  • Start with what stays. Look at your floor, the corridor and your shoe cabinet, and choose a finish that sits well with them.
  • Match or contrast. A main door that matches your bedroom doors looks calm and continuous. A contrasting one makes the entrance a feature.
  • See it in your own light. Colours vary by screen, so we bring samples to your site visit. You can also see them at our showroom at Oxley Bizhub in Ubi, by appointment.

You can try eight finishes on a main door on our finishes page, and send us any code on WhatsApp. Our guide to choosing a wrap finish goes further.

Looking after a wrapped door

Wipe it with a damp cloth, or water and a little neutral detergent. Keep solvents, bleach and abrasive pads away from it. See what’s covered on our warranty page.

When a door needs more than film

Film goes over the surface. It won’t fix a door that’s swollen, warped or damp, or paint that’s peeling underneath. If your door has any of these, show them in your photos.

How to get your price

  1. Send 2–3 photos of the door on WhatsApp, and we’ll quote your price before any site visit. We reply within 30 minutes, 10am–8pm.
  2. At the site visit, we bring samples so you can choose your finish against your door, in your own light.
  3. A 50% deposit books your slot and orders the film. The balance is due when we finish.
